Interested. Awake. Worker.

Anyone choosing to make art the sole endeavor of their life must have those characteristics. An artist living on wits must fuse hard work with an ability to render form with precision, and do that with originality of approach, which requires intellectual engagement.

Shivers’, born in New York city, illustrations often reflect life with creativity, set in a world of film noir and jazz, depicting subjects with pointillism between photorealism and a Rorschach test. He inserts emotion into these images with precision and heart. His work also demonstrates an underlying element of darkness without being oppressive; as the viewer manifests meaning.
